- Description:
- At Gothenburg Landvetter Airport there are currently 11 passenger jetties, 3 of them are new and the rest are of an older model. Piers and stands 12-20 are of an older model. All 8 piers at staging areas gate 12-20 are deemed to have passed technical service life. The project involves a reinvestment of these 8 stands which includes the replacement of passenger jetties, construction of new bridge buildings of approx. 200m2/each and construction of gangways that connect to the terminal. In addition, all concrete and asphalt surfaces in the area are replaced along with reinvestment of all technical systems in the ground and around the staging areas. All airport-specific technology such as PCA (pre-conditioned air), GPU (ground power units), docking systems, charging infrastructure, underfloor heating, lighting masts etc. must be replaced. The implementation will take place on the Airside in direct connection with air traffic. The project will be preliminarily divided into 2 stages during implementation. In addition to the above, an investigation regarding expansion of the terminal with approx 1000m2 including 1st parking space just above and extension of existing gate with 400m2. The task includes producing a program document/system document that is calculable. Detailed planning (AB 04) and relational documents may be called up as options subject to investment funds are granted. Planning is expected to start Q3 2026.
