Background
Umea University uses the state framework agreement for hotels, longstay, conference and meetings to the extent possible. In Vasterbotten County, however, the coverage is very limited, especially in smaller towns and sparsely populated areas where the university conducts operations. This makes it difficultto meet the actual needs of the business. This procurement therefore aims to supplement the state framework agreement and ensure access to relevant services throughout Vasterbotten County.
Scope and delimitation
This procurement refers to hotel, conference and long-term services withinVasterbotten County and is divided into three parts:
Part area 1: Hotel services
sub-area 2: Meeting and conference services
sub-area 3: Longstay (residents for longer stays)
for the sub-areas hotels and conference, there are already state framework agreements that cover Umea and Skelleftea urban areas. These geographical onesAreas are therefore exempted from this procurement. Thus, the procurement only includes facilities outside Umea and Skelleftea urban areas, as defined by Statistics Sweden's urban demarcation.
For hotel services also applies that only facilities with at least two stars according to Hotelstars Union are covered byFramework Agreement.
For Longstay there are no existing state framework agreements with coverage within the county, which is why the entire Vasterbotten County is covered by this part of the procurement - including Umea and Skelleftea urban....
