- Torsby municipality invites tenders regarding - Incineration of waste with diary number KST 2026/35, according to the instructions below and attached documents. The assignment includes the treatment of approx. 9,200 tonnes of waste and waste with municipal responsibility annually through combustion. The waste consists of municipal waste from households and such waste from other sources which in its nature and composition is similar to waste from households approx. 6,500 tonnes and sorted combustible waste from businesses and municipalities recycling centers approx. 2,700 tonnes. The waste types will be collected. Waste from Sunne and Torsby municipalities is taken to Holmby ÅVC in Sunne for transshipment, while waste from Hagfors and Munkfors municipalities is left for transshipment at Holkesmossens ÅVC in Hagfors. Waste is transported to the incineration plant from the Holmby recycling center in Sunne and from the Holkesmossen recycling center in Hagfors. The sorted combustible waste from Munkfors ÅVC is currently delivered directly to the present combustion boiler. Deliveries and responsibility for securing transport to the designated unloading place are taken care of and paid for by the municipality. Delivery of the waste takes place at the waste incineration plant at the designated location. Deliveries are in the order of 30 tonnes. However, variation may occur. Delivery takes place with freight exchange containers.
