Description:
The procurement concerns teacher-led language courses in Swedish and English for staff and master's students at Chalmers University of Technology.
Chalmers is an international university with staff and students from all over the world. To facilitate adaptation to Swedish society, language and culture, offerder Chalmers' employees and master's students, among other things, courses in Swedish. The levels of Swedish teaching can vary from A1 to C2 according to the Council of Europe's reference framework for language levels (CEFR), as well as pre A1 (introductory course in Swedish). Historically, almost approx. 70% of the course hours the late onesst two (2) years intended for Swedish level A1.
Staff at Chalmers may also sometimes need to develop their competence in the English language. Approx. 5% of the course hours in the last two (2) years have been for English. The levels of English teaching usually vary from B2 to C2.
Courses are often conducteda in groups, but it must be possible to call individual courses as well.
In addition to teaching, the assignment also includes extensive course administration. The supplier must provide a Chalmers-specific web-based page for registering for courses, be responsible for contact with course participants and with Chalmers bsubstitutes, redeployment of groups, etc. The supplier must also be responsible for tests and level assessments of course participants if necessary, and make group divisions if desired, etc.
