- Region Varmland (the region) must procure a License partner for the upcoming framework agreement period 2024-2028.
The region will not be able to contractually guarantee a certain volume or products. The assumed supplier is obliged to deliver the real need.
The procurement includes, among other things:
The supplier must bea strategic cooperation partner (licensing partner) for the region in contract management and licensing for strategically important products. The supplier must work together with the region to optimize licenses (reduce costs) for both technical infrastructure, and licenses for various applications/systems andcloud services. The supplier must give suggestions on how to adapt licenses in different ways to hardware, user patterns, utilization rate, etc. The license partner must work proactively to monitor changes in license rules and mediate and, when applicable, recommend any measures for what caninfluence the region's licensing model. Licensing to the region, for example, in the following areas: office software, server and client operations, databases, identity and authorization platforms, e-mail platform, conference solutions, integration platform, management tools, MDM tools, virtual andh clustered environments, security software, log and analysis tools, directory solutions, case management systems, license management systems, terminal solutions and the like.
