Description: Laboratory medicine Base in the Skåne region, receives a normal day about 20,000 samples and about 1,200 transport boxes.
The requested solution must include functions for receiving transport boxes in a sample reception and unpacking the box inserts with tubes and cans ("samples") that are transported in the boxes, putting back empty box inserts in the transport box and sorting and transporting the unpacked samples further within the hospital premises in both internal and public premises.
The procurement of such a system is part of Medical Service's strategy to automate sample logistics to increase both quality and efficiency.
The procurement will mainly address the laboratories in Lund and Malmö, but the solution will, in a modified design, in future also be able to be used in smaller laboratories in the rest of Scania, which is why a flexible and scalable system is required.
