• Description:
• The procurement encompasses security tests to be done before a person, through employment or in any other way, participates in security -sensitive activities. The purpose of the examination is to clarify whether the person can be assumed to be loyal to the interests to be protected and otherwise reliable from a security point of view. Another purpose is to investigate any vulnerabilities that could cause the person to end up in a vulnerable situation and become vulnerable to external pressure.
  Parts of the work of the City of Gothenburg conducts are classified as security -sensitive activities and are thus covered by the security protection legislation. Within the framework of this, the City of Gothenburg works with safety testing, including so -called background checks and security testing interviews before the appointment of certain types of positions/assignments. This also includes work on follow -up background checks and calls conducted with employees which holds a position in security class or which must be safety -tested without placement in security class and calls when the security test is completed.
